Fifth
Annual
Al Fresco Dinner
Saturday July 28
Starting at 5:30 p.m.
Supported by a generous grant from
the NYS Department of Agriculture & Markets, these funds have
allowed for the expansion of the Al Fresco dinner to include a
weekend of agriculture-focused activities on July 28th and 29th.
The annual dinner features locally-sourced ingredients from area
farms located an average of 12.5 miles from the event. Prepared
and served by volunteers, our annual dinner under the stars is
a celebration of Salem’s agricultural and arts traditions.
The Historic Courthouse Pottery Studio
is enlisting the talents of artist and potter volunteers who will
make specially designed serving platters and bowls used in the
dinner service. Many of these beautiful and functional creations
will be on sale during the silent and live auctions.
