Hold your breath. We’re showing the film 20,000 Leagues under the Sea written by Jules. This silent film featured Jane Gail, Salem's silent film actress. Born Ethel Magee, she graduated from Salem Washington Academy in 1899 and spent 12 years on stage before breaking into movies. Her film career spanned eight years, making 100 films.
