Remembering Ruth: Light and Color

Long-time resident, artist, and teacher in Salem, Ruth Sauer touched many lives through her classes, gallery, art exhibits, and artwork, and she left a lasting impression on those who knew her. Gathered from the collections of friends, this sampling of Ruth’s abstract paintings and monotypes spans over 50 years and reflects the light and places of her memories: from her kitchen window in Salem to her stay in Tucson, Arizona. In the spirit of community, a potluck will be held. Please bring your favorite dish to share with friends!
