FREE Intergenerational Concert Series hosted with Caffe Lena on the Road—senior community members are welcome to join us at 12p for lunch, followed by a show in our Great Hall. Students from Salem Central School will join us for everyone to enjoy the show experience together.
Reese Fulmer (the man behind orchestrating our wonderful Intergenerational Concert Series these last two years) is coming to Salem, this time to perform! We’re so excited to welcome him to our Great Hall again!
First cutting his teeth in the music business as a manager of the iconic Saratoga Springs listening room Caffe Lena, Reese Fulmer has established himself both as a talented songwriter with an uncommon depth of language and a bandleader unafraid of taking risks and carving a new path between genres. In his acoustic duo sets, his sound recalls the early days of Folk legends like John Prine or Gordon Lightfoot blended with new generation songwriters like Gregory Alan Isakov or Iron & Wine. "An award winning songwriter with a poet’s sensibility rich with great storytelling, imagery and a healthy dose of irony", you can sit with his songs and discover an authentic and unassuming philosophy about the world.
