Join us for an Earth Day presentation with Bill Richmond of Adirondack Worm Farm! Sunday, April 19th @ 3pm— and yes, he’s bringing some of his worms! He’ll tell us all about his process and the benefits it has for our environment. There will be time for your questions, too!
Bill Richmond, owner and chief worm wrangler at Adirondack Worm Farm, has been working with red wiggler composting worms since 2017. Over the years, we have managed millions of red wiggler worms. In 2019, the company began offering a commercial curbside composting service, and has composted more than 250 tons of food scraps at its DEC-permitted composting facility in Washington County, NY. The company serves residential, commercial, educational and non-profit organizations, and provides regular reports to customers on the environmental benefits of diverting nearly a third of material they previously considered “garbage”.
